Brittany Baxter is a home and food writer in New England with a wide range of cooking and recipe testing experience. She holds a B.S. in Psychology. She enjoys going on adventures with her husband and three-year-old daughter. She is a macaron aficionado, foodie, Disney addict, and animal lover!
The best gift Brittany has ever received was a gift from her mother. It was a collection of handwritten recipes for holidays and special occasions. It has family favorites that hold many special memories for her.
The most unique piece of home decor Brittany has is a witch ball that she purchased from a boutique in Salem, MA. She is an avid lover of the film Hocus Pocus and Halloween. She makes a pilgrimage to Salem every year to celebrate. She wanted a unique souvenir to bring home and saw a beautiful amber and red colored orb hanging in a shop window. Legend has it that if a witch ball is hung in a window, negative energy is attracted to the orb's beauty and then trapped inside forever. Hopefully, it never breaks!
When it comes to food, Brittany absolutely loves helping people find diverse flavors and ingredients. She cherishes the idea that it brings creativity and inspiration that will ultimately end up at the dinner table surrounded by family and friends. Sharing food with those we love invokes inspired creativity amongst others, and it brings us closer together.
